Tim Doehrmann is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in Morton, IL, and his goal is to ensure clients are prepared for retirement!
Tim’s career in financial services began as an intern at a commodity brokerage firm in Bloomington, Illinois. He completed his internship there and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University. He then became a licensed financial advisor in 2002 with Waddell & Reed Financial, Inc.
Before founding his own wealth management firm, Tim was also the founder, owner, and president of Tim’s Ace Hardware/Interiors Roecker’s in Peoria, IL.
Tim has spent time as a real estate broker in Lake Ozark, MO, and previously served as a member of the Illinois Air National Guard, later becoming a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom (honorably discharged in 2005).
Tim is in daily contact with like-minded professionals and experts throughout the country.
When not helping clients achieve their financial goals, Tim enjoys spending time with his family, reading, traveling, fishing, hiking, boating, or almost any outdoor activity.
Dawn Aldridge provides operational and client support while working closely with Tim on a day-to-day basis. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bradley University and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from the University of Illinois at Springfield. The majority of her work experience has been in accounting, most of which was with government and nonprofit organizations. She also has diverse working experience that includes inventory management, professional editing, and web publishing. Her biggest strengths are planning and finding errors.
Long before joining Tim at Eagle Ridge Wealth Advisors, Dawn was Tim’s office manager at Tim's Ace Hardware for its first year in operation. She started working there in early 2006 when the store was just an empty building and quickly learned how to set up financial, inventory, and human resources systems from scratch, as well as helping to assemble some of the original shelving fixtures that would hold the store’s retail inventory. Tim later sold that store in 2018.
In her free time, Dawn enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, preparing home-cooked meals, and participating in family activities with her husband and three kids.
